The Ignatian Children’s Holiday Camp is annually held at Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview. Saint Ignatius’ College, Riverview is a Catholic school for day boys and boarders from Years 5-12. It was established by the Jesuits at Lane Cove in Sydney in 1880 and is part of the international network of Jesuit schools begun in Messina, Sicily in 1548.

How to get to the Ignatian Children’s Holiday Camp

If you are coming from the North or North West

  1. From the north follow the Pacific Highway until you get to the intersection with Epping Rd. Turn right onto Epping Rd and then left into Longueville Rd.
  2. From the North West follow the M2 or /and Epping Rd until you get to the junction with Longueville Rd, turn right at the intersection.
  3. Take the first right (approx. 80m) into Birdwood Ave and follow that road to the first roundabout at the intersection of Burns Bay Rd and Tambourine Bay Rd.
  4. Turn left into Tambourine Bay Rd; continue along this road and across River Rd until you come to a roundabout directly outside the college front gate at bottom of the hill.
  5. Turn right into Riverview St, proceed for 200m until you come to the crosswalk turn left into the property and follow the signs

If you are coming from the South or West

  1. Via the Sydney Harbour Bridge, take the Pacific Highway exit at North Sydney and travel approximately 4kms to the intersection of Pacific Highway and Shirley Rd.
  2. Turn left into Shirley road and proceed to first traffic lights turn right into River Rd (west) and proceed for approx. 5kms until you come to the intersection of River Rd and Tambourine Bay Rd, turn left into Tambourine Bay Rd and follow the above instructions marked.
  3. Via Gladesville and Drummoyne head north along Burns Bay Rd until you come to the intersection of Burns Bay Rd and River Rd. Take a right hand turn into River Rd and proceed into you get to the intersection of River Rd and Tambourine Bay Rd. Turn right into Tambourine Bay Rd and follow the instructions marked.
